Hi! I'm Jonah Pearl, the woman behind L'Artiste Shop.
I started this out with the hope to have my art touch other people's lives and walls and journals. I am a professional Multi-media artist who specializes in Graphic Design. But as a hobby, I always do traditional art like watercolor painting, oil, gouache & acrylic painting.
Some fun facts about me:
• I do films when I was college
• I am crazy about books (yes, hoarding and reading, two different hobbies)
• I enjoy most D.I.Y projects and busy myself doing anything arts/crafts and painting in my spare time.
• I’m obsessed with Taylor Swift and her music! But I also love listening to indie, pop, and contemporary folk music when I am working.
• All in all, I have had 70+ pets (some of them are fosters, some were stray dogs). But now I only have 6 dogs plus 7 cats and some stray dogs in our place that we're feeding every day.
• Currently learning body art: TATTOOING! (follow me on @lovejonahpearl on IG)
I have planned to open a business since 2016, been doing fun personal projects and planning, buying materials since 2017. But really haven't had the courage to start one back then.
Then I had the courage to actually pursue it and started this shop in 2020. This shop started as a passion project, a side project to sell my arts. I have been dreaming and working on my arts for the past 10 years. FEBRUARY, 2020, I started to make it work and roll on the thread I laid before. I started doing crafts, which is one of my first love, created custom earrings and accessories using resin RESIN, and loved it! I started accepting custom orders since. I also launched the HANDPAINTED PETCHARM to have something for pets since I had many pets ♥
As of in writing this, I am grateful that a lot have trusted me in this and I promise to make them with love ♥
